Title: Mt Tecumseh Trail - White Mountains, New Hampshire
Description: Non-conforming stone structures (wall) along the Mt Tecumseh Trail in the New Hampshire White Mountains during the summer of 2011. Water bar across trail is per guidelines. Trail maintenance handbooks suggest the best trails show little evidence of trail work and that work should blend in with the surroundings. After a trail inspection by Forest Service in June 2012, the walls on each side of the drainage may be removed because they have no real use.
Location: Waterville Valley, New Hampshire, United States
