Remnants of abandoned dwellings in the Steam Mill Brook drainage of Albany, New Hampshire. This artifact possibly marks the location of an old logging camp of the Swift River Railroad era, the Coty 4 Dakota Camp. Owned by the Conway Lumber Company, this was a logging railroad that operated from 1906-1916. The removal of historical artifacts from federal lands without a permit is a violation of federal law.
