Remnants of a spur line of the abandoned East Branch & Lincoln Railroad (1893-1948) in the Thoreau Falls Valley of the Pemigewasset Wilderness in Lincoln, New Hampshire. This spur line came off the mainline that lead to Camp 23. It crossed the North Fork of the East Branch of the Pemigewasset River, near Jumping Brook, and traveled a short distance on the East side of the North Fork ending at a landing / work area. This is near the end of the spur line, and it had two lines of track. Railroad ties are still visible on the left.
