Remnants of the Swift River Railroad along the Swift River in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire USA. The railroad hugged the river and required many areas to be reinforced with supports. These supports (logs) can be seen on the water's edge under the trees in this image. This was a logging railroad in operation from 1906 - 1916.
